Do you think the police would have forced open my door if I didn’t have burglar bars and doors?
I live in a terrible ghetto near downtown Los Angeles. This is due to perhaps a poor decision on my part. I decided I didn’t want to rent or pay a mortgage when I inherited some money. So I bought a tiny house in a poor part of town.Anyway, I have this garage in the back that in falling into the ground. It was built ramshackle, back in the 1920’s when the house was built. It is so designed, that it is perfect for people Light Wrought Iron wall sconce running down the alley being chased by the police to use as a “ladder” so to speak into my fenced and walled back yard. Consequently, several foot pursuits have ended with cops and the police helicopter lighting up my back yard. This happened last night, and after it was all over, the cops pounded on my door. I am gay, and gays and cops don’t get along. So I figured if I ignored them, they would eventually go away. My car was in my driveway, and I assume still warm, and so they were angry I didn’t open up and they pounded loud and long for half an hour, then they got tired and went home. I installed burglar bars and doors on my house. The cops were very rudely pounding like crazy. I am wondering if they would have simply “accidentally” forced open the door, if I didn’t have these big wrought iron bars and doors? I am sure that they could have ripped the doors off the walls with two or three cops and some of the lumber in my back yard, but it would have been pretty obvious to any cell phone camera what they had done.
