So I wanted something to make it as quick, convenient and painless as possible. This wall mounted ironing board really does the trick. Easy to install, just find the studs and no big holes in the wall. I painted it the same color as the wall and you hardly even notice it. Still don’t like to iron but at least I don’t have to drag a board out to get it done.

How to clean old unfinished knotty pine cabinets?
I have unfinished knotty pine kitchen cabinets [solid wood] that I don’t want to alter because they were handmade by my father. They’re very well made but the style is rustic with wrought iron hardware.I iron Cabinet don’t think that they’ve been deep cleaned since they were installed in 1950, and dust and kitchen grease have darkened them in places, while normal wear and some surface scratches have lightened some areas. If I want to give them a facelift, is there a cleaning product that won’t darken them? How would you restore them to a more uniform appearance? And if your recommendation is to sand them, please tell me what tools, what kind of sandpaper [grit #, etc.] I would need to do the job. Thanks so much!

This chest does the job for extra storage but is not the same quality as a piece of furniture. It’s sturdy enough for clothes and light item storage. It was first shipped without the hardware and the tabletop piece had a stain on it, but the company was very good about shipping out new pieces.

I bought this for a 15yo girl’s bedroom. It took just a few minutes to put together, with an allen wrench and a phillips screwdriver, and it is surprisingly sturdy and has a great look. Perfect for smaller bedroom.

I recommend having a power screwdriver.

Looks good, though because it’s not very heavy, is more prone to shaking when bumped into or handled, so you probably do not want to put anything on top that tips over easily.

I bought this to put near my entryway to store shoes, hats, and gloves. It looks AMAZING! It’s very sturdy, and looks very classy. It was easy to assemble… I did it myself in about an hour. I was watching TV at the same time so it might have been done quicker had I not been distracted. I bought the two pieces that go with it, and they all look so nice. Love it!

This ironing board has been great so far. We needed something that would take up as little room as possible and also be very unobtrusive. It has been great on both counts. The craftsmanship of the door is great but they used staples instead of nails for the outside trim, which looks a bit shoddy. You can’t really see it unless you examine it closely but it still bothers me. (The color of the side trim is also a bit green compared to the front; I’m hoping that will be fixed by a layer of stain.)

We were a bit leery about the whole thing being held by just one screw (in a metal stud) but it appears to be very stable. The unit is very heavy and holding it up against the wall made installation was tricky.

This Handi-Press Surface Mount Ironing Board is well made and easy to install….You just need to measure carefully and install it into a stud with the 2 large screws. The box is nicely finished and only needs to be stained or painted. I found the “recessed” type of board in Home furnishing stores but you need to cut through a wall for that type of board. I’m glad I found a “surface mounted” board like this one. This surface mounted ironing board is great for apartments…no need to hire an installer.

It was just what my wife wanted and at a very reasonable price. It arrived in great shape within a few days of ordering. It was easy to install using the provided hardware. You will have to drill holes for the mounting screws. It is a bit heavy and MUST be securely attached to a wall stud. The door swings to the right so keep that in mind when installing. It does open flat to the wall. Easy to use and sturdy. My wife loves it!
