I live in Pacific Beach and work off of Palomar Airport Road too and have been doing that commute for over 2 years now. In the morning it takes me about 45 minutes to get from homes to work door to door. There isn’t much to any traffic in the morning heading north. Sometimes it’s a little slow heading up past the 5/52 interchange but never stop and go unless there is a major accident. About 5-10 minutes of the morning is spent waiting in line to get on the freeway at the on ramp. It’s a very busy on ramp and there are metering lights so usually there is a backup. I go the backside and take Bluffside drive instead of Mission Bay Dr. So your mornings aren’t that bad.In the evening it’s a different story. From about June through Labor Day in September it is horrible for the most part. The Sd County fair and Del Mar races plus all the tourists really make the commute on I-5 south in the evening horrible. It usually takes me at least 45 minutes to as long as 1.5 hours to get home. Usually it’s around an hour. From Sept to May traffic isn’t nearly as bad and many times in great actually. Thursdays and Fridays are always the worst anytime of year, but during many months in fall and winter, there is barely any traffic and I can be home in as little as 30 minutes to an hour at most. It is much more bearable from Sept to Apr/May.It’s not a fun commute but I enjoy where I live so I do it. Most of the year it’s not too terrible but still a pretty decent commute.

I love Carmel. The drive down Highway 1 from SF to LA is one of the best drives in the world!! Monterrey is also one of my favorites as is Big Sur.

It has already been said; “WALMART” They make a excellent battery equal to anyone else on the market. Also their price is exceptional. You want to buy the battery in the proper group size with both the highest CCA (cold cranking amps) and Reserve Capacity as well. That is the best that money can buy. Just buy a regular Lead acid battery, no fancy GEL CELLS. Also clean your cables and battery tray with cleaners or Baking Soda. Wear eye protection around battery’s. Good Luck and check WALMART for a price. You also get nation wide warranty and service if you should have a problem with the walmart battery. It is equal to a die hard battery if that tells you anything about their product.

Here’s a suggestion for s restaurant where many of the dishes are vegetarian, if you can do that. It’s my favorite place in all of San Diego: Indigo Grill, in Little Italy. They have a dish called “good things growing” that has a wonderful mix of vegetables, including a squash casserole that is absolutely addictive. They also have many vegetarian appetizers, like Grilled Romaine Salad, and a pecan-crusted Brie.

thats good you are at the right age to look for a job. try the library near there I think they said they need someone young enough to help other kids. but if you dont get the job then try this website here http://recessionrecover.blogspot.com so that way I wont leave you empty handed. its a free site that will get you a little extra cash and its safe so if the library don’t work out try the web site so you can make a little money for yourself good luck

I live in this part of the city, and I love it! There are tons of restaurants, night clubs, bars, just nightlife in general. It is safe for the most part, the farther you get away from adams the worse it gets. You get people from all walks of life and that makes for a good mix. It is also very close to just about everything, I work downtown and don’t even get on the freeways! Good luck and I am sure I will bump into you at the Von’s!

Sorry I can’t help you. I am in Massachusetts! Have you tried calling the vet’s office? You don’t need the vet to come out but the vet tech or assistant would be perfect. If someone is willing it will probably not be inexpensive but it is worth calling to ask. You could also try a dog walking/pet sitting service. Many of these people will be used to taking care of sick animals and might know something about grooming. Good luck.

In california you have to have your own car to take a drive test. so unless you can provide a car to take the test in, you wont be taking the test tomorrow. try asking other friends, parents, parents’ friends, anybody really. if you can find one, then you can take the test in it, you just have to make sure all headlights/tail lights work, no huge crack in windshield, blinkers work, and seat belts are in tacked. Also the car has to have current registration, and insurance. it doesn’t matter who the car is insured to.
